Background
Ein Harod museum designed as a magnificently architectonic masterpiece with unique utilization of natural light by the Architect Shmuel Bickels.
Due to new regulation, the museum administration asks to design a new roof that avoids direct sunlight by covering the existing skylight completely.
we spouse that covering the skylight will ruin the essence of the space, ruin the unique experience and increase the uses of electricity.
therefore, we offer to design a roof that aligns the client needs by keeping the main purpose of the original Architect, maximum indirect sunlight and avoiding direct sunlight in the exhibition hall.
